Organic tin catalyst T-12

Organic tin catalyst T-12 is a curing accelerator for polyurethane systems, suitable for use as a high-efficiency catalyst in areas such as polyurethane coatings, foam materials, adhesives and sealants, and elastomers.

T-12 organic tin catalyst is used as a heat stabilizer in silicone rubber mold products and PVC plastic products, such as films, semi-rigid sheets, transparent tubes, etc.

The main component of American Gas T-12 is dibutyltin dilaurate, with an appearance of a pale yellow transparent liquid and a tin content of approximately 18.0-18.8%.

Organic tin drier T-12 promotes the reaction between hydroxyl resins and polyisocyanates, shortens the curing time of PU paint, and acts as a highly efficient catalyst in terms of rapid gelation and tack-free time.

Catalyst T-12 can promote the rapid gelation of one-component silicone rubber and two-component mold rubber.

Compared to other organotin compounds, catalyst T12 offers a longer activation period under the same curing rate conditions.
